If ever there was an antidote to loneliness, the Sidekick would be the answer. Loyal. Affectionate. Devoted. They will shower you with unconditional love but are easy to please. They’re the ideal companion for singles. 

As a dedicated best friend, you can count on them to always be there for you and to give you a warm welcome when you come home. However, they can sometimes be clingy and prone to separation anxiety when you are not around. Or just in the loo.

Tips to keep a Sidekick happy

To prevent them from feeling alone, make sure you teach them to be comfortable by themselves. Make sure they’re not allowed to follow you from room to room and don’t carry them around. 

Remember to give them lots of love and reassurance, but to also foster a sense of independence. Give them a cosy bed they can snuggle into or a toy to play with while you’re away.
